Art club has run this term for 6 weeks with the kind support of Mrs Creamer. During which time we have explored various technipues using different types of modelling clay. Altogether there were 12 childeren from years 1 to 4 . You can see some of their pieces on display in the front entrance of the school. They have made coil pots and used two small pinch pots when joined together made an apple which was then hollow inside. Next using a small bowl as a mould they made either tortoises or turtles by taking small balls of clay and smoothing them into the bowl to make the shell (a bit like a pineapple upside down cake where you put the pineapple in first and then when you turn it out the fruit ends up on top!).
